Enrollment Information
As a public charter school, any child residing within Licking County may enroll at Par Excellence Academy.
If you want to inquire about new student enrollment please feel free to call our staff at anytime. We enroll all grades from Kindergarten to 6th grade (for the Kindergarten Enrollment Page, please click button below right).
If you are interested in enrolling your child in Grades 1-6, download the New Student Enrollment Packet (file below). The following documentation MUST be included for enrollment to be complete:
If you are interested in enrolling your child in Grades 1-6, download the New Student Enrollment Packet (file below). The following documentation MUST be included for enrollment to be complete:
- Birth certificate (Must have original for office to copy)
- Immunization record
- Photo I.D. of custodial parent or guardian
- Proof of residency (Must be within the past 30 days and have a parent/guardian name and current address)
Examples include: utility bill, lease, mortgage, etc... - Proof of custody (In cases of divorce or foster families)
- Current IEP or ETR Plan (If applicable)
- A completed Student Enrollment packet, which includes:
- Consent for Student Records Release
- Language Usage Survey
- Bus Transportation Registration

Q: Does it cost to attend school at Par Excellence?
A: There is no cost to attend Par Excellence Academy. Students will receive exemplary education with no tuition costs or fees.
Q: My child has an IEP--can (s)he still go to Par Excellence?
A: Absolutely. We have exceptional intervention specialists who can oversee your child’s individualized education plan and ensure they receive the services they need to thrive.
Q: Is there busing to and from school?
A: Yes, students receive busing from their neighborhood school district. For more information, check out our Transportation Page.
Q: Can my child receive free and reduced lunch?
A: Every child at Par Excellence receives a free breakfast, lunch, and snack regardless of income and economic factors. We track how many children qualify for state and federal data, but provide food free of charge for every student. Children learn best when they have proper nutrition!
Q: How do I get my child’s uniform?
A: Students at Par Excellence Academy wear a simple uniform. We believe this helps limit bullying and puts the focus on academics. For details on the student dress code and uniforms, please refer to the student handbook.
